Front Garden
Truro
This tiny front garden was ruined by building works & always impossible to maintain with a huge overhanging oak tree making it shady during parts of the day and rendering all surfaces green and slippery.
The brief was to provide a very structured garden with a strong shape, very smooth, easy to maintain surfaces and a restrained colour scheme. As the client did not want to be constantly weeding but didn’t want it too controlled the planting was contained by clipped box hedging (still growing to required size) with very soft planting with contrasting foliage and a mainly white colour scheme with spots of yellow and blue. There is something in flower in all seasons.
